§ 26-2. Additional fees in traffic cases.

The clerk of the circuit court of the county shall charge and collect a fee of $5.00 for all traffic violations where there is an admission of guilt as well as fees per the following schedule: felony—$50.00; misdemeanors class A—$25.00; class B or C—$15.00; petty offense—$10.00; all civil cases—$5.00. The fees shall be used for the purpose of supporting the court system in this county. A traffic violation for the purpose of this section shall not include parking tickets or parking violations. Such fees shall be in addition to all other fines and charges assessed by the circuit court and shall be remitted monthly by the clerk of the circuit court to the county treasurer for deposit in the general fund.
